The Scarano 21 was one of John Scarano's earliest designs and was strongly influenced by his International 14 dinghy racing years. She won the Lake George PHRF division with a rating slightly slower than a J24. She was built on spec, raced by her first owner for 10 years, and to this day races on Lake George under her second owner.
